Ethan Goes to Soccer Camp

This book was made in result of my senior project My topic for this project was about the heart, so I chose Congenital Heart Defect. I chose to write a children's book to help educate kids on a condition that they may have peers in school who live with it and show representation in literature for children who live with a Congenital Heart Defect.

In this story Ethan who has a Congenital Heart Defect and needed open heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart. He goes away to soccer camp after being cleared by his doctor to be able to play soccer. The story shows Ethan go away to camp, make friends and educated kids in a way that they can understand about the heart and what a Congenital Heart Defect is.
