Rudolf Steiner's seminal lectures to the first teachers before the opening of the first Waldorf school called "The Study of Man" (or "Foundations of Human Experience" in the more recent edition) is a rich and systematic descritpion of a new approach to education, made possible through Dr. Steiner's insights. Many have struggled to comprehend these lectures as they are difficult to apprehend in many ways, simply because they are so new and so different from the more materialistic thinking that supports current mainstream education. The Pedagogical Section Council of North America has developed these "Entry Points" to give teachers and parents ideas of how to study these important lectures to avoid getting "stuck" or giving up on penetrating with understanding these original lectures, and these original ideas. Along with explanations of each lecture, helpful illustrations in footnotes, study questions with which to launch discussion, and additional commentary are provided.
