Beskrivelse

Emmett continues the adventures of little Emmett Hofmeister and his Dad which were originally documented in an earlier book entitled Little Man. Whereas Little Man followed Emmett from the womb until his first birthday, this book highlights some of Emmett's big and little achievements for ages two through five. In the end, the book is a celebration of childhood and parenthood - a positive look at fun and tender moments between a father and a son: splashing in puddles after a rain, counting and stacking coins, turning a bed into a boat for sea voyages, and searching for clues on the way to Candy Land. Emmett is part of an ongoing series the author began in 2010 as a way to record his son's childhood and highlight the simple joys of fatherhood and parenting in general. The other titles in the series so far are Little Man and Crystal Lake. Personal, light, insightful and fun - this series is perfect for any parents to be or anyone who would like to connect with another parent via the written word.
