Beskrivelse
Eleanor has a problem - a problem that few girls have. Her parents have told her that she should end her relationship with David. It isn't that David has a dubious character; no, he is an upstanding member of society. He is a school teacher. He is older than her. He is a widower with adult children. And he has just asked her to marry him. The problem is exacerbated because Eleanor believes that children should obey their parents. When is a child not a child? Is it a lifetime principle, or are their circumstances where the rule is subjugated to a higher principle? Apart from that, there are the normal human emotions to cope with. In going against their wishes, she also risks losing her parents. What about David's parents? What about his children? What about her school? What about higher education? What about having a family? With David's help and support, she overcomes the hurdles, one by one. But still her father won't speak to her. Will they ever be reconciled? This is the sequel to "David Makes A Decision," and follows the problems that beset Eleanor after she gives her answer to David If you haven't read that, then stop right now This begins with that decision.
