Ebonyi of the year 2300

Ebonyi people have come a long way in our struggle for recognition and independence in Nigeria. Thank God for using General Sani Abacha to wipe our sorrows and tears on 1st October, 1996. It is nearly two decades and God has rewarded us through common destiny and leaders from Commander Walter Feghabor to Police commissioner - Simeon Uduoye. Then the first Executive Governor - Dr Sam Ominyi Egwu, second Executive Governor of the state - Chief Martin Elechi and third executive Governor -Engr Dave Umahi.The journey have been tortuous. The body may be weak but the spirit is very willing. There are many told and untold stories which are not subject of this book. Rather the volume is a personal encounter with God for Ebonyi People.The piece is written clearly in the language that can only be understood by Supreme God Almighty who gave us a state of our own. It is not a celebrity piece. It is coming from the most useless and idiotic citizen of the state. It contains an encounter of our ebonyi journey through the desert to actualize God's dream for Ebonyi People by the Year 2300 - 3000. A lot of sacrifices are required and all toes will be threaded in this journey.The generation of today must shape the generations of the future. Why, how, where, what, when the dream will be actualized is best known to Supreme God Almighty of Ebonyi State. He loves Ebonyi very much. It is his project and I cannot underestimate his powers, wisdom and knowledge. He is the Alpha and Omega. We are instruments in his hands. He fashions and shapes us as he will. His Yes is Yes and His Know is No.Let us listen to Him.
