East Brunswick

Located in central Middlesex County, East Brunswick is a community of more than 40,000 people. Once part of North Brunswick, it broke away and incorporated as a separate entity in 1860. The city has both an agrarian history and well-defined neighborhoods with fascinating architecture and interesting characters; it has been home to nationally known artist J.C. Thom and noteworthy author Henrietta Christian Wright. This once-rural farming community is now a large, suburban township that takes pride in its ethnic diversity and cultural background.
