Dr. Dinoh's Kids: A Learning and Activity Book for Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury

Dr. Dinoh's Kids is a learning and activity book to guide education programming for children with spinal cord injury. This book was developed to encourage pediatric patients with spinal cord injury to learn about their spinal cord injury, be active participants in their spinal cord injury medical care, and be advocates for their health and happiness in their new life with spinal cord injury. Topics in this learning and activity book include spinal cord anatomy, skin health, bowel and bladder management, autonomic dysreflexia, adaptive sports, and assistive devices.

Although this primer for pediatric spinal cord injury was developed for children with spinal cord injuries, the learning topics and activities have been created to foster inclusivity and acceptance for children with spinal cord injury among all children, and especially among siblings, classmates, neighbors, and playmates of children with spinal cord injury.
