A Comparative Law Study of the Implementation of the Directive 2008/52/EG in Germany and Poland«The comparative law study elaborates the principles of mediation as well as the differences and similarities in the implementation of the European Mediation Directive in Germany and Poland. It examines costs, enforceability, certification of mediators and the promotion of mediation after a number of changes was introduced to the Polish Code of Civil Procedure in 2015. The historical development of the Polish mediation and cross-border enforceability of mediation settlements are also incorporated.
