Die Agaische Fruhzeit

Fifteen to twenty years ago Fritz Schachermeyr published his classic bibliographical and review volumes on Aegean prehistory. This is the first volume of the new series, detailing new publications on and new finds from Neolithic Greece during the period 1975 to 1993. It has been a period of much theoretical advance, as well as an incremental growth in material evidence, and thematic chapters discuss topics such as chronology, neolithisation, diffusion or colonisation and subsistence. The last part of the book presents a gazetteer of new finds and excavations.
