Dictionary of Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality

The Dictionary of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality is now in its second edition. Existing entries have been updated and new ones added including terms used in North America, Asia and Australasia. It defines and explains more than 3000 terms and abbreviations in travel, tourism and hospitality. It also lists key data for more than 200 countries.

Greatly increased coverage is given to business and employment terms; environment issues; European integration; food and catering; forms and types of tourism and recreation; travel-related illnesses.
