The purpose of an association is to help members of the association - the churches - work, fellowship, and better fulfill their purposes. The association does not take the place of a church; it is there to help so it can function better. The purpose of this book is to help churches form associations which can help them fulfill their purposes. It is also a tool that can be useful to the associational leaders as they try to find better ways to achieve their goals. The author has tried to write a book accessible to all. It is not a technical book. On the contrary, it is a practical book that seeks to answer the most frequently asked question (FAQ) in the formation and development of an association.
