DEMONQUEST is yet another tale of a great evil sweeping the land of swords and sorcerers, and yet, not one told in the traditional ways, as it does focus on legendary heroes, but ones with real issues and real heroic traits, along with human frailties and flaws. This is no tale of glorious victory of good over evil. Many will do battle and many will die, as a small group of heroes gather for a desperate attempt to sneak through enemy lines and arrive at the conquered and tainted Conjuror's Keep, seeking the source and gate through which the demons enter the realms of men. They know that their quest is likely doomed, despite the guidance of Mendel the Court Wizard of Grenin and the appearance at last of a "lad of white", one to wield the sacred blade of Saint Vanicos.Either way, there will be no glorious celebrations or grand feasts at the end of the waves of demon hordes that fall upon the lands. One way or another, the lands would be changed forever...The writing style is for the imaginative reader, one who conjures his or her own images based upon a small amount of detail to work with. For that reason, this work is not for all readers, no matter how dedicated they are to the sword and sorcery genre.
