Dejanna of the Double Star

Dejanna, the great granddaughter of her planet's most beautiful woman and her world's Earth-man Overlord, is stolen by a rejected suitor. Pregnant, she is stranded alone in the wilderness with only her wits to save her from the planet's savage beasts and nomadic warriors. While she seeks safety, her husband searches the dangerous swamps for his wife and unborn child. Their quests put them both on a collision course with the most dangerous and warlike creatures on the planet - the savage Sarapou tribe of Zirkas, a race of gigantic and sentient insectoid beings whose thirst for power and blood is never satisfied.
