In the swamp outside a small Danish village, two young boys make a gruesome discovery. Just below the surface of the water floats a corpse-now reduced to skin and bones. Twenty-five years ago, someone murdered this unfortunate woman. Now, Detective Inspector Roland Benito and his colleagues must use what scant evidence they have to identify the victim and track down her killer.
