Dead Is Better

Charles Stone is pretty sure he's dead. He has bullet holes in his chest, he can float, no one can see him, and there's a ghostly dog that seems to be his new companion. Unable to interact with the world of the living other than watching and listening, he and the dog-who he names Rose-have nothing to do and all the time in the world to do it. When Charles and Rose go searching for what led to Charles's death, they uncover a killer who is raking in millions of dollars on the deaths of his victims. But what difference does it make that a ghost can identify the murderer? And what does the dog have to do with all of this?
