Gigi Davenport has been raised to do one thing: marry well. While her parents would love her to focus less on her tea shop and more on hitching her wagon to a man of means, Gigi is ready to ditch the doctors and lawyers she's used to dating and try a relationship with someone more down-to-Earth.

Cooper Ellis was raised to do one thing: work hard. As the head mechanic at the local auto shop, his work may not be as prestigious as some of his wealthy customers, but it affords him a life he can be proud of. Cooper wants Gigi to be a part of that life, but he is unsure that a regular guy like him will really be enough for her.
