Dark Night of my Soul

These poems were written over a ten month period and cover all aspects of life, from dark to light to crazy. The title comes from my poem based on Psalm 88 and also the poem by St. John Maximovitch, who talks about Spiritual depression and how to pray through it. Some of these poems were written while I was spiritually depressed, but, by Gods grace, only lasted a few days. With prayer and meditation on scriptures, it was possible to return my life to a point in time that restored faith and trusting in the Lord. Other poems are based on the Christian Calendar, the Seasons we celebrate, each a thought, a prayer, a poem to meditate and celebrate.
