Beskrivelse
True crime podcaster Rachel Krall returns to search for a popular influencer who disappears after visiting a suspected serial killer.
Terence Bailey, the prime suspect in a string of killings, is about to be released from prison. Days before his release, Bailey is visited by Maddison Logan, a hot, young, up-and-coming influencer. Hours later, Maddison disappears. Police believe she's been kidnapped--or worse. Hitting a wall in the investigation, the FBI asks for Rachel Krall's help. Using a fake Instagram account, Rachel goes undercover to investigate Maddison's disappearance at BuzzCon, a popular influencer conference, where she discovers a world of fierce rivalry that may have turned lethal. But her investigation takes a turn when a different influencer turns up dead. Rachel must consider a chilling possibility: Bailey has an accomplice and a dangerous obsession with influencers, including Rachel herself. Suddenly the target of a monster hiding in plain sight, Rachel is forced to confront the very real dangers that lurk in the dark corners of the internet.
