Dangerous Lies

Detective Rome Rosetti has been on the police force in the city of Seattle, Washington for the better part of seven years. During that time, he's seen the worst that society has to offer. One night, he's called to a particularly grizzly crime scene. A well-respected plastic surgeon has been shot to death in his office, his face brutally slashed. Rome quickly zeroes in on the doctor's supposed mistress, bartender Lola Bristol. Lola has a story to tell, but it's not what Rome expects. As the case goes cold, things between Rome and Lola heat up. But soon there's another murder. Lola becomes a suspect a second time. Is she a vicious killer?-or will she become victim number three?
