R ka M. Cristian is Associate Professor of American Studies at the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Szeged, Hungary. She is co-author of Encounters of the Filmic Kind: Guidebook to Film Theories (2008) and founding editor of AMERICANA - E-Journal of American Studies in Hungary and its AMERICANA eBooks division.
