Ryan's defender of his dreams, bed time pal, and all around protector is gone... Luckily for Ryan, his dad gets a replacement immediately and it seems like everything is back to normal, which means no more nightmares for Ryan... or so they thought. This stuffed animal is alive and on the hunt. The new teddy isn't so friendly and chooses Ryan to be the person to sustain him. While Ryan sleeps, the bears feeds on his life-force, slowly draining him away. Can his parents and older sister save him in time?

Book II, "Careful, I Bite", will be coming out near the end of Fall 2022 and features a middle school boy who seems to have won the jack pot when the most beautiful girl in the school asks him to the dance. Not too long after, he starts to develop an unnatural thirst for blood that proves extremely hard to fight.
