CrabApple Hamlet

CrabApple Hamlet, (also available as a series of 6 books), is about Eve, a top public relations expert who enters a writing competition. The prize is a three month, all expenses paid retreat, to try to write a book. If this is good enough, it will be published, and the possibility of a three book deal is dangled as another incentive. There is also a cash prize, but while this is great, what tempts Eve most is the chance to get away for a while. She has a good reason for wanting to escape the life she currently has.

Eve wins the competition, but her prize turns out to be much more than she expected. It comes with great and terrible consequences.

An old hotel is being renovated near where she is staying, and she gets involved in helping to launch this. Her story and the hotel's, including the new owner, become entwined in an odd way and this causes things to get very difficult.

This is a story about the journey Eve took, what she found along the way, where she ended up and how she got there.
