Cool-Catchy-Calm

Multi-award-winning composer/pianist Margaret Brandman has penned this collection of gently graded pieces for early to intermediate level pianists. The pieces are composed in a wide variety of appealing styles including Cool pieces featuring Blues, Rock, Salsa. and Jazz elements; Catchy pieces exploring the chromatic scale, the topography of the piano, and the percussive pianistic style; and Calm pieces in a flowing style with scintillating modern harmonies.  

 

These unique pieces will assist developing pianists to improve their interval reading, rhythmic, and harmonic skills, whilst gaining experience in a wide variety of contemporary musical styles. The titles of the pieces, will capture the performer's imagination and provide insight into the stylistic content of the piece.
