Continuing education in handling central venous catheters

While it is necessary to constantly improve skills linked to nursing care for handling Central Venous Catheters (CVC), there is also a lack of tools used to educate professionals involved in direct assistance to patients with these devices. The adoption of new teaching tools, originating from Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), brought important changes to the educational paradigm, providing new auxiliary tools for teaching, and consequently, contributing to the ongoing education of health professionals.
