Comparison and Research of China and ASEAN Countries' Foreign Language Policies

This book is the final achievement of the national social science fund project 'comparative research between Chinese and ASEAN countries' foreign policies under the perspective of peace and prosperity' (Approval No.: 09BYY016) completed under the leadership of Professor Wang Jinjun of Yunnan University's School of Foreign Languages. This book's main contents and framework are divided into five chapters: the language planning, language policies, Chinese foreign language policies and foreign language education, ASEAN countries' foreign language policies and foreign language education, the comparison of Chinese and ASEAN countries' foreign language policies and Chinese foreign language policies towards ASEAN countries.
