Beskrivelse
This expanded edition of Volume 1 contains 20 autobiographies and 42 photos of Korean War combat veterans. The expanded edition of Volume 2 contains 17 autobiographies of Korean War combat veterans and 59 photos, as well as a report about war-prisoners' experiences told by a U.S. Army doctor that spent three years as a POW. It also contains reports about how the U.S. divided Korea after World War II and Theodore Roosevelt's secret diplomacy, in 1905, which led to World War II in the Pacific, the Korean War, and continuing turmoil in the Pacific. Stories in these volumes help readers to understand what draftees, volunteers, and professional military men experienced in Korea. Both volumes often tell information not available in U.S. military reports and government-authorized histories and sometimes contradict official reports.
