Cocktails, by Mike

A book, "by Mike," is a collection of stories and recipes of cocktails that I have created at the WXYZ Lounge in the Aloft Austin at the Domain. So many of my guests have inspired many of these cocktails. Others have come to me in dreams. These would qualify as craft cocktails. The book is separated into three sections. In the first section are the cocktails that are presently on the menu. The second section has cocktails that I call "one-offs." These cocktails were created for specific events or holidays. They are still available on their designated holiday. I finished the book with the section "How Mike Makes the Classics." These are descriptions of how I like to make classic cocktails and my favorite version of the history of each classic. I have included instructions for making each cocktail and a picture of what it looks like.
