Cleansing Rain

America's Storm and Whirlwind of Evil (the first two books of The Storm Series) portrayed how the Winters family, along with neighbors in a rural Alabama community, fought against the evil brought on by demonic forces. Cleansing Rain picks up the suspense as the entire United States of America has now come under vicious attack in both the physical and spiritual realms. Seven massive explosions detonated simultaneously across the country have ripped the nation in two, separating the eastern and western portions by the overflowing of the Mississippi River. Communications between the separated portions are lost until at last someone discovers that shortwave radio systems are still functional - if you have the right equipment. Unfortunately, the geographical upset of the nation is not the most disparaging issue they are up against. The citizens must learn to look beyond the visible problems and focus on the dark power behind the problems. General Samah is a madman on a mission. He and his evil minions are determined to overthrow the country and either claim it as their own or destroy it completely. Meanwhile, the Winters family and the people of Summit Ridge provide shelter for those escaping the devastation of the coastlines and seek God's guidance regarding their role in the restoration of 'One Nation Under God'. When President Charles Daniels calls upon the nation to pray for a healing rain to cleanse their land of the demonic forces and set the nation free, they have no idea what they are in for.
