Beskrivelse
The Claude and Pascal stories are based on a cat and dog living in rural France. Pascal is a simple country cat and Claude, although born in France, comes from a long line of British aristocrats. Their contrasting backgrounds provide a perfect foil for a loving relationship. The imaginary adventures start with a hesitant first meeting and develop into a lasting friendship. Claude becomes very protective of Pascal. Ideal for bed time reading, each story delivers warmth and charm in a simple straightforward way. Designed as an early learning aid, each of the three stories ends with a simple device using pictures and numbers, encouraging the child to repeat the tale. In keeping with the French theme, the last line of each tale appears in English and French.
