Christmas TV Specials & Movies of the 1970S

For many people part of the fun and enjoyment of Christmas are the holiday specials, cartoons and television movies the season produces. That was particularly true during the 1970's when each season you looked forward to Christmas specials headlining Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Bob Hope, Andy Williams and many others. The 1970's also found new classic animated Christmas specials such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Year Without a Santa Claus and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas-just to name a few. Then there were the Christmas TV movies like The Homecoming, The House Without a Christmas Tree, It Happened One Christmas, A Christmas to Remember, The Gathering and The Man in the Santa Claus Suit-the list goes on.
