After the Christmas lights go out, decorations come down, and the wrappings trashed, the holiday season often leaves us with a sense of empty exhaustion. MarJean and her granddaughter, Anna, created a collection of inspirational Christmas writings and drawings to help make your Christmas brighter and a lot more meaningful. These writings work well to read as a family throughout the Christmas season. God never meant for us to find the meaning of Christmas in the wrapping, activities, or preparations of the season. It's when we leave the flurry of activity and walk out back to the privacy of the "stable" to take a long look at the Son of God, do we find purpose. When we allow those five little fingers to grip our wanton hearts with His naked humanity and perfect divinity, He fills us with love, joy, and peace. When the cares of this world press upon us, let's look into the face of Jesus and hold Him close to our hearts. He alone brings everything else into focus.
