Christianity and Politics

Christianity and Politics was birthed out of a conversation with a fellow Christian one day in 2003. My friend began talking about politics and how well she thought our President at the time was doing. I was not as fond of President Bush mainly because I disagreed with going to war with Iraq. As I began to explain why my views differed, my friend became defensive and even questioned the validity of my faith (she assumed that I voted Democratic, a party that held ideologies that opposed Christian values in her eyes). I left our visit deeply disturbed by how much politics shaped my friend's worldview, and began to wonder if others thought the same. I was determined to learn why this was so. I read the Bible from cover to cover and discovered many truths about God and government and reveal these truths in my first book, Christianity and Politics: A biblical discussion about God's intent for His Church and government.
