A detailed examination of the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and children in the school years. The final part of the book consists of a step-by-step guide to planning a career and obtaining a job in the field of early childhood education. In the text uses either male or female examples in order to avoid awkwardness he/she and him/her constructions.
