Chasing Empty Caskets

Cynthia Sharp is done with the people of Sweet Pea, OH. Between confusing pictures with mirrors, cat's trapped on the window sill and bananas that have fallen in mud, there is no real mystery to solve and plenty of animals giving birth at the dairy. Sgt. Winnifred Pupperson, K-9, even got herself a job modeling with children at the entrance to the ice cream parlor.

Nope, Sharp Investigations should definitely close. Even if it means moving back into her parents basement.

Until Retta comes in, sharing the tale of disappearing corpses and empty mortuary drawers. Disturbing, mostly gross, but interesting enough to look into. In the process, she loses a neighbor, finds a homeless man, and wakes up next to Dr. Larry Kirby a few too many times with all her clothes on.
