Burgess had been trying to talk Chase into entering the scarification competition at the Melbourne Tattoo festival since he'd first heard about it. Chase knew that his work was good and could even potentially win, but he struggled being in public and showing off his talents. It was a throw back to a time before supernaturals were accepted.
