An impromptu meeting at the pier leads to a reunion with Joe's oldest friend, and his enchanting younger sister, Lin Mei Lau.

Employed as a covert crown agent and connected to his father's work, Joe is kept busy and always expects trouble. It comes with the job.

What he didn't expect was how much trouble Lin Mei could fall into—all because of one little tiger cub she found among the cargo that caught her heart.
