Chances of the Heart

Being a teenager is hard. Being a teenager who is shy and tends to keep to herself with only a couple true friends, can be even harder. Faced with tragic events in each of their lives, can two opposites come together and find true love? Sometimes it's in a place where you least expect it. "Ugh..another school year." Tianna reminded herself she only had two years left. "School isn't that bad, at least I can see Maria and Chris every day" she said trying to convince herself she would make the best of it. "Good morning" her mom said as she entered the kitchen. "How does your schedule look this year?" Rolling her eyes, "I was put in a class with all boys. Why would Mr. Jenkins do that?" "Not sure. Do you want me to call to straighten it out?" "No. I have to be in it, there are no other options this semester. Most of the boys are in Sarah's class. Nothing good can come of this." "Well just give it a chance. You might end up liking the class. You'll do fine, I'm sure." Tianna heads out the door, places her earbuds in her ears and waits for the bus. "This schedule really sucks. He could have at least put Chris or Maria in there with me."
