Beskrivelse
The story of Prince Ako continues in this look at what life was like among the early royal families of the First Dynasty. When Egypt's king is assassinated, Ko's friend and adopted brother becomes king. He appoints Ko as chamberlain whose first task is to hunt down those responsible for the king's death. At his home, two cats keep vigil in front of Bastet, goddess of cats. They appear to be listening to her. As the adventure progresses, they leave messages that need to be deciphered. Cats Who Listened to the Gods also provides an intimate glimpse of Egypt's great culture and history long before it was called Egypt, or had pharaohs, and the Sacred River didn't have a name.
