Beskrivelse
Catching Hope: A pursuit fraught with danger.
Newly adopted Lexi Michaels is taking her first real vacation as she, twin brother Levi, adoptive brother Chad, and new cousin Jen head to Haiti where their dad, a pediatrician, will be volunteering in an island clinic. But from the start this turns out to be anything but an ordinary vacation. When Lexi stumbles upon a robbery in progress and thwarts a Haitian man from stealing drugs intended for the clinic, she has no idea this particular thief already harbors hatred against her new adoptive father.
While out on an outing, the four teens are kidnapped and taken to a location far from their resort and with no hope of help. Even as the four plan how to get free, an earthquake helps them escape, but their perils are far from over. The teens are kilometers from civilization in a mountainous area now ravished by the earthquake. Finding food and water becomes especially urgent for Chad, who is diabetic. In the course of finding their way back to the clinic to reunite with their parents, the teens are only steps ahead of the kidnappers. Only teamwork and quick thinking can help them outwit the kidnappers and reach safety.
