The Canary Island's Cumbre Vieja volcano is experiencing a major 8.9 earthquake. Some say it's just a local disaster. But, Dr. Samuel May, one of the world's premier researchers on stratovolcanos knows different. Escaping near death on the island of Tenerife, he soon learns this is the beginning of something more when ancient Vatican secrets lead him to learn that the Earth is nothing more than a science project for an extraterrestrial race. The aliens have begun to shut down the planet in a series of natural Cataclysms. But there is an assassination plot underway, the Jesuits want Callixtus dead for revealing the hidden agenda.
