Images move and inspire us. A single one may convey a complex idea or a sophisticated concept much more effectively than language alone. Along with sound and touch, the visual sense is one of our most important learning tools. We associate a different area of the brain with each sense. The more of the brain we engage, the better we learn. The illustrations presented may complement the dialogue exchanged during a psychotherapeutic session. In addition, they can be reproduced as helpful reminders for clients to take home.
