Cancer Doesn't Win

Cancer is a terrible disease that affects so many families all over the world. Children and adults find it difficult to understand as well as to talk about together. In the story, a young girl finds out that her beloved mother has cancer. At first, the mother vows that she will fight the disease and win. However, as the story progresses, the mother loses her battle with cancer. Before she leaves this earth, the mother tells her daughter and husband that they must not let cancer win by stealing their precious memories of each other and replacing them with only memories of the disease. While still hurting, the girl understands and remembers that her mother is always with her through faith.
