Eira is without an heir and a rite has been called.

For millennia, only humans have been permitted in this sacred ritual to find a new ruler; the test of power bringing even the strongest to their knees.

This year, however, is different.

With syrens stirring in the east, vampyres testing their boundaries, and fae venturing into the continent in unprecedented numbers, Myrantis is heading into a storm that holds violent winds of change. For the first time, the rite will bring beings from across the kingdom together in a fight for the throne.
