Bullies

Kiersten Shorter is enjoying the happiest day of her 13 years. She has her three best friends over to help prepare for her birthday party. Her parents just gave her a cute puppy as a present. And her Aunt Viv and Uncle Fred surprised her by flying all the way from California to Atlanta. While her father, uncle, and younger brother and sister go for party supplies, Kiersten and her mom walk to the home of another girlfriend, whose father, Kiersten's soccer coach, is a bully, to make sure she comes to the party. When they arrive back, Kiersten's happiest day turns into her saddest. Her life is turned upside down as bad turns to worse, and Kiersten ends up in a new school with a bully teacher and a clique of girls who torment her. But in her darkest hour, a mentor from the past steps in who sets in motion a series of events that causes the bullies to have a change in heart and take action before another tragedy strikes.
