Their lives get flipped upside down when the unlikely group of friends are discovered by a mysterious woman that nobody else seems to notice. The four of them confront the strange woman, only for her to spout nonsense about superpowers, secret organizations, evil geniuses trapped inside computers-things you'd expect to hear at a sci-fi convention. But when a horde of mutant insects descends upon their school and starts sucking the energy out of their classmates, they suspect the woman may have been telling the truth.
