Beskrivelse
Brighton, a small Oregon town, sits deep in the middle of a dense and expansive forest, miles from civilization. For decades, Brighton's citizens have told stories of a mysterious cult that lives out in their woods and on occasion steals children from the periphery of the city. Brighton High School freshman, Woody Werner, hears the story for the first time at a party in late April, and finds himself overcome with an insatiable curiosity. Is the cult real? Where did they come from? Are they still out there? Joined by his two closest friends, Thomas and Alice, Woody digs into his hometown's local lore, searching for the truth behind the legend. But Woody soon finds that he has dug too deep, exposing secrets Brighton would rather keep hidden, and must deal with the consequences of his curiosity.
