Brer Anansi the Trickster

These books were written for the enjoyment of children especially boys. Anansi teaches many moral lessons from which to learn, that can be applied to their daily living in which to deal with life's little dilemmas. This book is the eight in a series of ten books. Anansi, a mischievous spider, finds himself constantly learning some of life's most important lessons. This book includes stories of Anansi interacting with different Animals that are all animals of the Guyana Rain forest. It includes Anansi showing his more human and gentler as in Anansi recues Ocelot's babies when a careless hunter killed their mother. Anansi saves chinchilla from the determined Grison. Then there is the more mischievous side when he gave advice to crab eating raccoon on how to get an easy meal which ended in disaster for him. These and other Anansi stories can be found in this book.
