Boyz Burlesque is a theatrical carousel An anthology of life's experiences told through the eyes of a man. A cultural thesis woven upon socio-communities, effectively transitioned in the Gay Man. An embodiment of truth, light & love. Promise, hate, fears, sex & valor. Boyz Burlesque is a ritualistic paradigm that forces you to confront your own demons & designs. It is a spiritual journey Boyz Burlesque was truly a spiritual awakening for me, a cathartic trance. I felt it was extremely necessary to tear to shreds off society's contradictions & superficial standards that so many of us men fall prey to. But without preaching a standardized dynamic. Life's examples ranging from child abuse & prostitution, sexual proclivities, coping with the loss of loved ones, substance & alcohol abuse, spousal abuse & many other lil surprises. I wanted to capture the naked essence of being a man & not by one's ideal decree or protocol. Anari continues to tirelessly devote his art in ways & areas where it may serve as a beacon of positivity, strength, hope & love for those that may be searching within their own chaos, questions & confusions.
