Som mor til to drenge har bogen været en øjenåbner. Bogen har givet mig nye indsigter i, hvordan jeg som forælder kan støtte mine sønner i at udvikle sig til empatiske, modige og følelsesmæssigt bevidste mennesker. Den sætter ord på alt det, vi ofte overser: presset på drenge om at "være hårde", "ikke græde" eller "mande sig op". Baldonis budskab er klart: drenge må gerne føle, tale åbent og være sig selv. Det har ændret måden, jeg taler med mine drenge på – og gjort mig mere bevidst om, hvilket rum jeg skaber for dem. En bog jeg ønsker, alle forældre ville læse.
