Bovine Colostrum

This paper is a literature review with the objective of analysing the importance of colostrum feeding and management in dairy cattle. On the other hand, it serves as a reference material for animal production professionals, veterinarians, zootechnical veterinarians, zootechnical engineers and zootechnical agronomists. This text is aimed at exposing the important activity for the prevention, control and eradication of diseases of newborn calves, the main objective of professionals and dairy farmers who should be aware of it, the need to adopt practices to improve the management of colostrum.
